New York Cabin Rentals

"What's your pleasure? Whether it's hunting, fishing, ATV-ing, snowmobiling, hiking, canoeing, cross-country skiing or just relaxing by the warmth of the wood-burning stove…look no further! All of this and more await you at one of our rustic camp getaways. Experience the quiet serenity, the exquisite scenery, and the exceptional wildlife at one of our six secluded camps and see why our customers come back and visit us year after year."

ALASKAN STYLE TRAPPER'S CABIN

Scribed and couped by hand using massive century-old white pine logs, this recently built log cabin camp sets you back in time with its kerosene lamps, hand water pump, "outdoor plumbing," and cozy woodstove. The cabin has one large room with sleeping loft. Despite its nostalgic ambiance, the cabin entertained its first guests on New Year's Eve 2000.

This camp is unique in location and setting - so peaceful and quiet, you can almost hear the snow fall. Here, you'll see nature at her best right outside your window. A slow-moving brook babbles within hearing distance just outside your window, from which you can watch otters, mink, beavers, and other wildlife.

The Trapper's Cabin was featured in the December 2004 edition of Adirondack Life magazine.

The cabin sits on a 500-acre private preserve bordered by Nature Conservancy lands - one of the original Adirondack Great Camp properties of more than 10,000 acres. A series of hiking and cross-country ski trails leads to and from the cabin; miles and miles of trails and log roads are available on the property for skiing, snowshoeing, hiking and mountain bike travel. This is the ideal winter hideaway for the skier as well as a great all-season hiking and biking destination.

Notice to Hunters: We do not rent this property during deer season. Limited fall rental dates are available for guests hunting bear, upland bird, and small game.

OLE DOC BOARDMAN'S RUSTIC HUNTING CAMP

Doc's Camp is situated close to a small brook, but drinking water should be carried in. This newly constructed camp is approximately 400 square feet in the main camp living area, with a sleeping loft and a full length front porch. The cabin has wood heat and gas lanterns to provide a warm, cozy atmosphere. An outside fire pit is perfect for "story telling," and the sliding glass door overlooks one of the best deer runs around. The full front porch is a favorite gathering spot, especially during rainy days and nights. We now have running water for dishes only and except for a small sink and cupboard storage, all plumbing is "outside." This property boasts excellent hunting with several tree stands and miles of ATV trails. For those who fish, the Salmon and Mad Rivers are less than 20 minutes away!
